Dr. William Pelech

Dr. William Pelech is a professor in the Faculty of Social Work and lead co-principal investigator for the FASD Community of Practice's research. His practice's focus has primarily been in the area of rural and Aboriginal communities, as well as the development and leadership of the BSW Virtual Learning Circle program and curriculum. Dr. Pelech's professional memberships include the Canada Northwest FASD Research Network Action Team, and he has research interests in FASD, group practice, and Aboriginal concerns. He has received research grants from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), and the Alberta Centre for Child, Family and Community Research (ACCFCR).
