Dr. Dorothy Badry

Dr. Dorothy Badry is a professor in the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Calgary, and lead co-principal investigator on the FASD Community of Practice's research. Her research interests focus on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, child welfare, disability, and birth mothers and children living with FASD. Dr. Badry's Professional memberships include the Canada Northwest FASD Research Network Action Team on Women's Health, the Prairie Child Welfare Consortium, and the Canadian Disability Studies Association. Dr. Badry has received project funding from the Alberta Centre for Child, Family, and Community Research (ACCFCR); the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC); and the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB).
